Overview
The game was released in April 2023 for Nintendo Switch, Playstation and Xbox. It's a multiplayer game that combines classic board games like chess, checkers, backgammon, Connect 4, and many others in unexpected locations and historical periods with expressive characters, and family-friendly competition. The game invites players to compete in turn-based board games with dynamic reactions and fun, social interactions.
This was my gateway to the gaming industry as a 3D animator. Even though it wasn't my career goal, working as a 3D animator provided me with a wealth of knowledge about what it's like to work on game development with an incredible team that taught me and helped me pave the way toward game and level design.

Team and Personal Impact
-
I initially joined That’s My Family as a 3D animator, but from the start, the studio was aware of my strong interest in transitioning to game and level design. Once I completed my animation tasks, I was moved to the game design team, where I began contributing to gameplay systems, documentation, and implementation—marking the beginning of my career as a designer.
